The Power of Creativity

One of the greatest qualities of human beings is their creativity, whether to solve a problem or to develop a new profession, it is an opportunity to unleash all the imagination we have inside. In my case, it was by writing stories with a high human content and situations that reflect real life.

One of the challenges I have had when writing Marisa has been to give each of the characters their own personality, so that the reader can distinguish between the protagonists of the novel. Another fundamental aspect has been to recreate in detail the places where the different scenes of the story take place, so that the reader can feel the gentle breeze of the ocean, the warmth of a body, the warm coffee resting in a delicate porcelain cup. Giving texture to the narrative is very important to me, but above all, making it as descriptive as possible, taking care of every detail, making the story as coherent and understandable as possible for the reader.

I have always believed that the first ten pages of a book are fundamental for lovers of reading, it should capture you in those first pages, wrap you enough in the story to want to read more, until you complete the reading of the book.

When I decided to write Marisa, I told myself that I would write a simple and easy-to-read story, without complicated or confusing plots that you have to decipher what the story is about. I use simple language with a lot of dialogue between the characters, and of course the third-person (omniscient) narrator, as well as the first-person narration in some cases of Marisa as the main protagonist, who describes and tells her personal diary in some parts of the novel.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog sharing my personal experience as a writer of romantic novels, and that you can enjoy the Marisa diary of an executive saga.

Lots of love, a big hug.
